At The Lys Collective, our mission is to equip early-stage entrepreneurs with the strategy, design, and digital tools they need to confidently launch and grow purposeful businesses. As a former product-based business owner, I faced many challenges. One of my biggest hurtles was simply getting eyes on the brand that I worked so hard to build. I was confident that the minute I launched, I’d have tons of customers who couldn’t wait to get their hands on my cozy candles.
The reality was: I had strong branding and a beautiful website, a product I was immensely proud of, and I knew exactly who my customers were (but very few of them knew I existed). I had done the foundational work and was slowly but surely building a community of customers, friends and partners – but finding sustainable strategies for growth wasn’t easy. Through the discovery process, I found something more.
Taking my love of details and data, while melding them with communication and design – I found my next plot twist (my first was leaving corporate to make candles, but that’s another story)! From experimenting with SEO to automating my first email flow, where I found joy in my business slowly shifted from creating candles to expanding my brand’s digital footprint. Unlocking new ways to engage and connect, while meeting my customers where they were, was game-changing. I wish I had this knowledge earlier in the brand building process, but that’s where you come in.
It’s my dream to help fellow entrepreneurs show up with confidence, connect with the right people, and grow their brands with purpose.
